    1. Development of models of intervention with diverse populations (early education, teacher training, education, and social work students) addressing subjects such as positive body image, emotional intelligence, emotional regulation, and the ability to conceptualize, accompanied by follow-up research.
    2. Development of theoretical and practical pedagogical research to improve teaching in social work and education, enabling students of social work and of teaching to progress in the educational space, such as emotional regulation, empathy, personal well-being, self-esteem, and positive body image in diverse populations spirituality and contemplative attention.
  • Ofra Walter is a senior lecturer at Tel Hai Academic College and the Head of a Master‘s degree in Art therapy and Drama therapy. She served as the Chair, of the Department of Education.
    She served as head of the Education Through Art program in the Department of Education and as the head of the Department of Early Childhood Education
    She was a tutor and pedagogic instructor for early childhood Student teachers and Kindergarten teachers.

    She developed educational academic projects and community guidance. Walter served as an academic advisor in Israel, the U.S., and England. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Raskin (England) in 2007. Served as a consultant and researcher in collaboration with the British Ministry of Education to develop a plan for an interventional integrated program in special education from 2008-to 2010. Frequently participates in conferences worldwide and invited lectures at conferences in Israel and abroad. Has published book chapters and articles. In the last few years, she focused on developing pedagogic skills based on spirituality (invitation for focusing. Meditation) the opened a laboratory where students learn and use these skills in one hand. and in the other hand, it is a platform for research on spirituality and subjective well-being.

  • My main research interest is in the study of the development of models of intervention that use the body and spirituality to enhance basic consciousness, improve subjective being, emotional intelligence,self compassion and achievement in life
