    Richard Tabachnik

    Senior Director Global Partnerships and Development

    Richard has made a career out of improving the world. Through his work with organizations in Israel and the US, he has maintained a common theme of striving to make life better and spread the concept of responsibility for the welfare of society as a whole.
    With a broad range of experience ranging from federations to the environment, holocaust survivors to higher education, Richard brings his love of the land of Israel and 25 years of “Tikkun Olam” to be Tel-Hai College’s liaison with its friends and supporters worldwide.
    Before moving to Israel from the USA in 1987, Richard completed a BA in History & Political Science from SUNY at Binghamton and a JD from Cardozo School of Law in New York. He lives in Zichron Yaakov with his four children.

    Dinah Kagan

    Global Partnerships and Development, Director

    Dinah returned to Kibbutz Ayelet Hashahar in the Upper Galilee where she grew up, after many years in Denmark, Germany and Canada. She has extensive experience in donor relations, marketing and development. Dinah, married and the mother of three children, is a doctoral student in European studies, she holds a B.A. in General History and Art History from Tel-Aviv University and an M.A. in German and Modern European Studies from Haifa University.

    Reut Diamant

    Donor Relations and Resources Development

    Reut was born and raised in the Upper Galilee specifically in Kiryat Shmona, where her family has been living since its establishment. A resident of the Galilee, Reut has always felt a strong commitment to the region, perceives its growth and development as a personal and professional goal, and therefore decided to raise her family in the Galilee. She lives today in Kiryat Shmona with her husband Shay and their two children Hillel and Eilon.
    Prior to her studies, Reut served as a commanding officer in the IDF at the Center for the Advancement of Special Populations where many of the soldiers came from difficult backgrounds.
    Reut completed her B.A. in Communication and New Media at Hadassah Academic College Jerusalem and her MA in Cultural Studies at The Hebrew University, Jerusalem.

    Ophira Alon

    Global Partnerships and Development, Coordinator

    Ophira grew up in Tsfat, a town in the Upper Galilee. During her military service she served in an elementary school in Petach Tikva as a teacher for new immigrants from Russia.
    Ophira completed her B.A. in English Literature and Classics at Tel-Aviv University. Eight years ago, after living in Tel-Aviv for 13 years she decided it was time to return to the Galilee.
    Her previous professional experience includes teaching as well as Export Marketing Coordination and Export Customers Service.
    Today, Ophira lives in Kiryat Shmona with her daughter Odeya.
