  • My fields of research concern the Israeli society at large and particularly its northern periphery, where I live, as well as issues concerning the academic stakeholders and community.

    ·        Community – Migration from urban to rural peripheral communities; changes in rural communities; communities' integration and cohesion; the implications of forced relocation on citizens and communities.

    ·        Periphery – Gaps between core and peripheral areas; the attitudes of citizens towards their lives in the periphery.

    ·        Higher education – Management of higher education institutions at times of crises; social responsibility of higher education institutions; environmental literacy and pro-environmental behavior in higher education institutions.

    ·        Mixed research methods - The integration of quantitative and qualitative research methods.

    2014-2017       A European Union Tempus-ESPRIT Project: Enhancing the Social Characteristics and Public Responsibility of Higher Education Institutions. Part of the Israeli team in the project. - 100,000 for the team of Tel-Hai Academic College.
