Arik Dayan is the appointed CEO of Amiad Filtration Systems in Kibbutz Amiad and assumed his position as Chair of the Executive Committee of Tel-Hai College in 2011, replacing Prof. Dan Levanon. Dayan lives in Kibbutz Hagoshrim in the Upper Galilee, where he grew up, and has been running Amiad Systems, one of the major water filtration companies in the world, since 2008.
"Tel-Hai is a hub of excellence, which not many people are aware of. When I became associated with Tel-Hai I was in awe of all the wonderful things that are taking place under my nose – I am eager to make sure that more and more people, in the Galilee and far beyond it, learn of the College and its uniqueness. One thing I know beyond a doubt – the only way to achieve our goals is to work together – academy, research, industry, regional councils, municipal councils – anyone who cares about the north should be a part of the conversation. Together we'll figure out a way."
