Vice President, Global Partnerships and Development
As the liaison between Tel-Hai College and its friends and supporters worldwide, Rachel Sachs leads the College's extensive resource development activities. A graduate of the Teachers College, Columbia University, with an M.A in Education, and the Hebrew University in Jerusalem with a B.A in English Literature, Rachel comes to Tel-Hai with extensive experience working with Jewish communities worldwide, specifically North America, heading educational initiatives in a variety of settings. Rachel lives in Yuvalim, a community village in the Central Galilee, with her husband Nir and their two children.

Ehud (Udi) Shalev
Donor Relations Manager
Ehud (Udi) Shalev is not new to Tel-Hai – Udi is a graduate of the B.A Program in Psychology and is just completed four years as Logistics Manager of the College. Udi brings to the Department deep acquaintances with the broad College faculty and a nuanced understanding of the institution and the region.
Prior to his time at Tel-Hai, Udi served as an officer in the IDF and still regularly serves in active reserve duty in the Home Front Command, as a liaison officer for civil populations in emergencies.
Udi was born and raised in the Upper Galilee on a small moshav, Sde Eliezer, where his family have been living for over three generations. A resident of the Galilee, Udi has always felt a strong commitment to the region and perceives its growth and development as a personal and professional goal. Udi lives today in Sde Eliezer with his wife Sivan and their two children Peleg and Omer.

Ophira grew up in Tsfat, Upper Galilee. She served in the military in an elementary school at Petach -Tikva as a teacher for new immigrants from Russia. Ophira completed her B.A. in English Literature and Classics at Tel-Aviv University. Eight years ago, after living in Tel-Aviv for 13 years she decided it was time to return to the Galilee. Her previous professional experience includes teaching and mainly Export Marketing Coordination and Export Customers Service.
